The Property Selling Company Website

From an unreliable WordPress integration to a fully connected property website — in two weeks.

The website needed to do more than look professional. It needed to display property information reliably, stay aligned with the business's existing systems and make it easy for enquiries to reach the right place.

01 / The challenge

The challenge

The previous WordPress and Property Hive setup had become unreliable, particularly around the connection between property listings and internal systems. The site also felt dated and did not have the direct Salesforce integration required for a smoother workflow.

The priority was to replace the fragile setup with a more dependable website while preserving essential content and search-engine continuity.

02 / My involvement

My involvement

I personally designed and built both the original website and its replacement. The replacement was completed in approximately two weeks, using modern AI-assisted development methods to move quickly without ignoring the operational requirements.

03 / The rebuild

The rebuild

01

Direct Salesforce integration

I implemented an OAuth-based connection to Salesforce so property listings and statuses could be synchronised with the business's records, aligned with the information shown on Rightmove. Website enquiries also feed into Salesforce, reducing the need for disconnected manual handling.

02

Content migration

I used Firecrawl to help migrate content from the previous website, making the transition more efficient than rebuilding every piece of content manually.

03

Technical SEO continuity

I implemented manual 301 redirects, an XML sitemap and structured data to support the transition and maintain a sound technical foundation.

04

A cleaner visitor experience

The replacement was designed to make property information easier to access and present the business more effectively online.

04 / The outcome

The outcome

The result is a live website with a more direct connection to Salesforce and a simpler approach to keeping property information current. The build also removed reliance on the previous fragile WordPress integration.

This was primarily a brand-presence and operational-integration project, rather than an aggressive SEO acquisition campaign. I would not attribute unverified traffic or lead-growth figures to the rebuild.

05 / What I learned

What I learned

A website can be a relatively small part of a much larger business process. When listings, statuses and enquiries depend on other systems, integration quality matters just as much as design. This project showed how quickly a practical replacement can be delivered when the underlying requirements are clear.
