The Property Sourcing Company Podcast
Turning industry conversations into useful, reusable content for property investors.
Not every project needs to be a software platform. This one was about creating thoughtful, practical content and building the production process to deliver it consistently.
Live interface01 / The opportunity
The opportunity
The team wanted to create a podcast that brought together people with experience in property investment and related areas. The intention was to share conversations that could remain useful beyond the original recording date and provide additional resources for investors.
The idea was developed by the wider team, and a physical recording space was made available. My contribution was helping turn that idea into produced, edited and published episodes.
02 / My involvement
My involvement
I selected and purchased audio equipment, handled audio and video recording, edited episodes and published the finished content to YouTube and streaming platforms. Episodes were reviewed by the team before release.
This was hands-on media production rather than a project I independently conceived or led from the outset.
03 / The production process
The production process
The work covered setting up the recording environment, capturing conversations, editing for clarity and presentation, and preparing content for distribution across relevant platforms.
Approximately seven episodes were produced over three months. The format created a bank of conversations and insights that could be shared with managed investors after publication.
04 / The outcome
The outcome
The series produced a collection of evergreen investor-focused resources and demonstrated that the business could create its own long-form audio and video content. The quality of the discussions and guests was a positive outcome, although I would not claim audience growth or lead generation without verified figures.
Continuing the series became more difficult as the practical availability of the people involved changed.
05 / What I learned
What I learned
This project broadened my hands-on experience beyond performance marketing and technology into production logistics, recording, editing and distribution. It also reinforced that content can be valuable as a long-term resource, even when its immediate performance is difficult to reduce to a single metric.
