Prop Sourcing SaaS Platform

Taking property investment beyond office hours.

We set out to create a self-service experience where property investors could discover below-market-value opportunities, analyse the details, communicate, make offers and reserve properties at any time — without needing to wait for a traditional 9–5 team.

01 / The challenge

The challenge

A service that depends on staff being available to send opportunities, answer questions and process interest creates natural bottlenecks. Investors may want to review a deal in the evening, compare opportunities at the weekend or act as soon as a suitable property becomes available. A more scalable experience needed to put useful information and actions directly in their hands.

The challenge was not simply to publish a property list. It was to bring discovery, analysis, communication and ongoing portfolio activity into one coherent experience across web and mobile.

02 / My involvement

My involvement

This was a collaborative build by a team of three, with equal contributions across the project. I did not lead the team or build the entire platform alone.

I was involved in product design decisions and hands-on development, alongside setting up marketing and communications. I also took responsibility for much of the mobile app delivery: packaging the application with Capacitor, configuring Firebase push notifications, working through hosting and domain requirements, and navigating the Apple submission and review process, alongside Android delivery.

03 / Creating a 24/7 investor experience

Creating a 24/7 investor experience

The platform presents opportunities through a familiar, property-portal-style interface. Investors can browse below-market-value properties, explore details and move from interest to action without having to request every step manually.

01

Property discovery

A searchable, Rightmove-like listing experience makes it easier to explore opportunities and compare relevant property details. The aim is to make stock accessible and understandable rather than hiding it behind manual communications.

02

Deal analysis

Deal-analysis tools enrich property information using multiple external APIs. This gives investors additional context to assess an opportunity and make more informed decisions. External information supports the analysis; it should not be presented as a guaranteed valuation or investment return.

03

Offers and reservations

Investors can make offers and reserve properties through the platform, supporting activity beyond normal office hours.

04

Messaging and AI assistance

Integrated messaging gives investors a way to ask questions and communicate within the product. AI-assisted functionality supports parts of that experience, helping make information easier to access.

05

Favourites and personalised alerts

Users can save interesting properties and set alerts so they can keep track of relevant new opportunities rather than repeatedly checking for updates.

06

Portfolio tools and property news

Interactive features help investors manage aspects of their property portfolio and stay informed through property-related news and updates. The wider product is intended to support ongoing investor activity, not just an individual property enquiry.

04 / Taking the platform to mobile

Taking the platform to mobile

The mobile apps added a different set of practical challenges from building the web experience. I worked on the iOS and Android delivery process, including Capacitor packaging, Firebase push-notification configuration, hosting/domain requirements and platform-specific preparation.

Apple's review process required particular care around compliance, application behaviour and submission requirements. Working through that process was a useful reminder that delivering a product is more than building its interface: distribution, notifications, platform policies and user experience all matter.

05 / The outcome

The outcome

The result was a substantial web-and-mobile property investment platform built around self-service access. It brought together property discovery, deal analysis, communication, offers, reservations, alerts and portfolio functionality in one product experience.

I would not claim a quantified reduction in staffing costs, increased conversion or investor adoption without verified figures. The achievement I can speak to is helping turn a traditionally team-dependent workflow into a functioning digital product, and contributing across both the commercial and technical sides of its delivery.

06 / What I learned

What I learned

This project showed the value of combining different skills in a small, collaborative team. Product design, technical implementation, investor communications and app distribution all affect whether a digital service is useful in practice. My contribution crossed those boundaries, particularly in getting the mobile experience ready for real-world distribution.
